Bought train tickets and ate a Scotch egg.

A ridiculous amount of bobbins to get through today beginning with a fiery ambush which is something you can do in Battlefield 4 and not an STD.

We were going to begin with a new trailer for sexy sandals game, Spartacus Legends, but whilst I was writing Snatch, the video has been set to private.

The text below the video explained a new Tournament Mode that will consist of seasons with new tournaments taking place every week. Each tournament week will come bearing new items, armour, titles, and banners.

They did not reply.

“Hands on day with the press today for #burialatsea part 1. Soon you shall know their thoughts. Date soon to come so don’t ask”, tweets Ken Levine.

“Honest truth: we won’t give a date until 1000% certain. We’re not ignoring your requests. Well, I am, but just the weird sexy ones.”

Well that is a disappointment, I won’t tweet you anymore Ken.

MEDIA ADVISORY – Ubisoft to announce an important investment project and generate a large number of jobs in Quebec. ”

An announcement of an announcement of a thing that may make a game that will probably be announced way too early (looking at you, Assassin’s Creed IV) and have the announcement of the announcement of the thing teased by a CGI teaser trailer which has bugger all to do the actual thing created by the thing Ubisoft are about to announce.

Hypothetically mix Tetris, Lemmings and Chimps in blender and you would get Chimpuzzle Pro.

Actually mix Tetris, Lemmings and Chimps in a blender and will get a bloody mess and a stern warning from the R.S.P.C.A., but you would still have something that that looks a lot better than the video above

This may have something to do with the game being developed by programmers, they only hired a graphics person at the start of this week so expect the game to have a graphical tart-up before release.

The World of Warcraft movie directed by Duncan Obligatory Mention That His Dad Is David Bowie Jones has a release date and it is December 18th, 2015.  Colin Farrell and Paula Patton are rumoured to be in the cast.

Namco Bandai has filed a trademark for Soul Calibur: Unbreakable Soul, thus reducing the ever-dwindling pool of game names with Soul in title.

Research indicates only “Soul Baboon”, “Soul Searcher: Quest For Hot Buns” and “Dance Dance Pavarotti: Oh Soul Mio” are left.

A launch trailer for damp PSN game, Rain.

A new CG Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon, provisionally named Sonic Boom, will launch next autumn on Cartoon Network in the US, with an initial run of 52 11-minute episodes.

Vlambeer’s Wasteland Kings has been renamed as Nuclear Throne. The game is not, as you might expect, a post-curry simulator, but a rogue-like top down pixel-thing.

The name change was because InXile, developer of PS4 and PS Vita game Wasteland 2, expressed concern that the title might have caused confusion with their own game.

Obvious news doo doo doo doo do-do, obvious news doo doo doo doo do-do, OBVIOUS! NEWS! Newsthatisobvious! A-bing-bong-bing-bong…

5.17m boxed games were sold in the UK last month, the first time the market has shown growth since, like, forever. It may have something to do with Grand Theft Auto V.

Another day, another Microsoft cock-up, but at least it’s not from the Xbox One team this time.

“Make the most of #Surface” tweeted the official Surface account and then retweeted a YouTube video which shows a Surface running a rather dodgy NES emulator playing Super Mario Kart.

Chompy Chomp Chomp is a game for Xbox 360 and PC and will be released on the Wii-U as Chompy Chomp Chomp Party.

Kick-Ass 2 will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in November 2013, probably to tie in the Blu-ray release of the film. It has “classic beat ‘em up gameplay” with an XP system and finishing moves.

Stealth Inc: A Clone in The Dark will be scampering over to iOS, probably getting killed in a number of horrific ways before it gets there.

This is not news as such but his account on Twitter is joy to follow, so you should, else you wil miss gems such as “Bought train tickets and ate a Scotch egg”.

Jeff also posted the image above, a developer diary from the days before YouTube. Who is that youthful programmer in the picture? Why if it isn’t PlayStation Vita hero, Shahid Ahmed.

Mario Party: Island Tour has been delayed and will not be making it to the 3DS until next year. Apparently this is to deliver the optimum gaming experience for fans, or in plain English, “We haven’t finished making the game yet.”

And Finally, a collection of dumb ways to die in Grand Theft Auto V.
