Dragon’s Crown Cross-Play Patch Now Live

2D fantasy brawler Dragon’s Crown now supports cross-play functionality, NIS America has announced.

Following on from its US release last week the patch enabling cross-play is now live in Europe, allowing gamers on PS3 and PS Vita to play together as was originally intended. Developer Vanillaware cite being “focused on delivering the best game possible” as the reason for the delay.

Dragon’s Crown is a sidescrolling beat ‘em up, reminiscent of SEGA’s Golden Axe and Double Dragon from the late Eighties, allowing players to engage in local or online co-op and enjoy “hours of intense dragon-slaying action.”
