Trine 2: Complete Story Trailer And Info

If at first you don't succeed, Trine and Trine again.

Trine 2: Complete Story was a rather late addition to the PS4 launch but it is now available for purchase on the U.S. PlayStation Store.

In the trailer above you can see some of the new skills that are available in the Complete Story version including the Knight’s Kitesail Shield, and the Thief’s Low Gravity Arrow.

Trine 2: Complete Story supports DualShock 4′s touch pad, for example it can be used when drawing boxes or planks with the wizard, and moving them around and interacting with the environment.

You will be pleased to know Trine 2 runs at full HD 1080p resolution at 60 frames per second and is one of the few PS4 launch games to support stereoscopic 3D.

No, the PS3 version was published by someone else, PS4 version is self published.

Sorry about this, the upgrades aren’t possible. We’re unable to support Cross Buy due to some issues on the back-end: We’re self-publishing Trine 2: Complete Story on PS4, whereas on the PS3 we had a publisher.

We also weren’t able to figure out any proper discount or consolation for the North American launch, sorry!

Content wise, the PS4 version has the Goblin Menace expansion and the Dwarven Caverns level, and a number of gameplay updates that we weren’t able to bring to the PS3. If you’ve bought Trine 2 on PS3 already and liked it, then it’s understandably a tough decision to go for the PS4 version.

    I hope this helps!

Well the game be a launch title for PS4 here in the UK? The Q+A is always more awkard and usually takes longer than the US.

We’re also a launch title for the European PS4 release, so it should be available in the UK on Nov 29th :)
