PSN Weekend Sale Announced

Aliens: Colonial Marines for only £3.39!

As well as the Twelve Days Of Christmas promotion we mentioned earlier, PlayStation have also announced that this weekend will see a flash sale on a variety of PlayStation Network titles for both PS3 and Vita.

Highlights include PS3 titles such as Terraria, which is down to £3.95, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Trilogy HD at £4.07, and Ubisoft’s 2008 reboot of Prince of Persia at £3.62.
Telltale’s Jurassic Park and Back to the Future series’ are also both on offer at a spot over £4, and if you’ve yet to experience the magic that is Aliens: Colonial Marines, that can be picked up for £3.39. Just don’t blame me.

If you’re after cheap games for your Vita, WRC 3 FIA World Rally Championship is a snatch at £3.99 (also reduced for PS3) and both DiveKick and Dokuro can also be found for under £4.

Finally, amongst the hefty list of discounted titles, there’s a few PS1/PSP games, of which I’d recommend Kula World, for £2.39, the Tekken 6 + Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny bundle at £3.95 and Assassin’s Creed: Bloodlines which is down to £3.99.

These deals will only run until the end of Monday, so if anything catches your fancy make sure you pick it up sharpish. It’s worth remembering that most – if not all of the games featured – also have an additional 10% discount for PS+ members. Bargain.

For the full list of all included titles and prices, please refer to the PlayStation Blog.

Is AC Bloodlines the game that the book, The Last Crusade was based on? Will definitely pick it up if it is, shame I’ve left my PSP at home though, haven’t touched it in ages!

Same hear, nearly bought it last week but thought I wouldn’t have much time to play it. Glad I waited.

Is WRC 3 any good? Pretty tepid reviews…

Judging from the demo’s WRC3 was far better than the latest offering erm… WRC4, although neither were class leading. At just over three quid though it’s worth a punt. ;)

Brilliant deals think I’ll plump for WRC3 and TD Ferrari Legends, possibly Jurassic park and Port Royale 3. Around 14 quid for all four games…bargain!

Jurassic Park, oh yeah, already got BTTF though.

i’m actually tempted to buy ACM, but i’ll probably be able to pick up a preowned copy on disc for not much more than that if i wait a bit.
CEX are already selling it for six quid.
though actually, they’ve got the special edition with the power loader figurine for 20 quid.
    tempted.

they’ve got From Dust as well.

and the D&D Chronicles of Mystara.

they’re trying to bloody skint everybody before they start the christmas sales aren’t they, damn them. >_<
