The Call Of Duty Sale Starts Today On The EU PSN

Shoot people in the face, but cheaper.

Is there anyone who does not own Call of Duy in some shape or form? Well if there is, then that one person is in luck as all of the games and a fair chunk of the DLC is on sale.

Digital copy of Ghosts for £38 doesn’t seem terrible. Granted it was/is(?) £36 on X1 at the moment but still a pretty good deal in comparison to how much Amazon, etc are selling it for.

I prefer disk-based games over digital too, but this is definitely a good deal for those who intend to go full-digital this gen.

Jesus, considering the great PS+ offerings, how cheap you can pick up decent PS3 games, the recently brilliant February sale, the number of pre-owned CoD games that must be in circulation, and that pretty much every multiplayer is now hacked – these prices are still stupidly high in my opinion. £16 for MW2 that was released in November 2009, and it’s digital!! W@W DLC for the same price as a decent Vita indie (full) game.

There really should be some warning with the games and DLC that the multiplayer is still largely hacked.

Yeah, non of this interests me at all, tbf i think the reign of cod is over. The multiplayer in ghosts is dire, although ive never been a big player, the single player i still enjoyed but is worse this time around.

I actually don’t mind Ghosts’ multiplayer – BUT two things ruin the entire experience, so it doesn’t matter if I think it’s balanced, or I like the classes, guns, perks, maps. The fact that there aren’t dedicated servers on PS4 means the lag compensation means you can be doing really well, and you die before you know it – it can be as though people are playing ahead of you, it’s crazy and effectively game-breaking.

Secondly is the spawning – how there is not some code that spawns you at a point furthest away from the enemy is beyond me. Sometimes I spawn into death several times in a row. Ghosts is the last CoD game I buy in a while. Thank God Extinction is really, really good though.

You can still get them on disk cheaper than that.

You can pick up the ps4 version for roughly £24 with a US account and a couple of $20 psn cards

Indeed. I’m not a fan of CoD but when I saw the headline I though I’d take a look and if it’s cheap, pick it up. Nope.

There’s a lot of moaning going on down here! I actually thought it was pretty good they’ve discounted ghosts on ps4 so heavily. £38 is a pretty good price considering they haven’t liked offering anything cheap on ps4 in previous sales.

I’m still tempted by Call of Duty Classic but does anyone know if it includes United Offensive? It’d have to for that price.

Played one CoD many years back, never felt I missed anything not playing any of the sequels. So, I couldn’t care less.

So why come on to an article that you clearly have no interest in then make a redundant comment?

I clicked this link with the intention of purchasing call of duty ghosts for PlayStation 4 if it was 35 pound or less. Missed out on a customer by 3 quid, better luck next time Activision. Like others have said, I’d rather have the disc version than downloading 40gb to my HDD. So if the disc version is the same price but cheaper, I’d go with that. When will we get sales like on steam, that’s how you do digital sales.

You do realise that even if you buy the disc version it has to install the entire disc to the HDD, so you’ll still be losing roughly 40GB…?

I can understand preferring to have a physical copy but losing HDD space isn’t really a concern.
