In Evolve, both teams are hunting each other, though in different ways. You’ve got the lone monster, who might not want to directly take out the human team but ultimately needs to, and the four hunters, who need to track down and destroy the beast.
This new gameplay trailer shows one match, eight minutes long, and shows the literal different perspectives – switching between the third person Goliath and first person humans.
It looks like really great fun, and definitely adds something new to the traditional co-operative warfare gameplay. The mobile arena, just before five minutes into the video, is quite interesting in particular, locking the Goliath in a certain section without escape.
The damage system looks really good too, with the monster becoming closer to death as the players have to revive each other after being incapacitated by the Goliath attacks. Evolve releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC later this year.

Looks brilliant. I had so much fun watching this, can’t even imagine how great this can be when played with friends :D

The only problem I have with this game, apart from the lack of character customization (I want to create my own set of Hunters) is that I wonder how fun it can be when played with random strangers online. I’m going to have to make my friends buy a Ps4 so I can play this with them…

Looks great so far and this only adds to it. Not sure about the longevity of the game’s appeal but a good gang of friends should really help out.
