Stop Nuclear Strikes Against The Moon As CounterSpy Launches On PS4, PS3 & Vita August 20th

Dynamighty has announced that side scroller CounterSpy will be releasing on PS4, PS3 and Vita next month, August 20th. The trailer shows some of the gameplay which does look rather stylish in the way it has been presented, having quite the unique style, almost cartoony or comic book like in a way. The story of the game is that you’re a spy who works for C.O.U.N.T.E.R, and your mission is to stop the superpowers from nuking the moon.

The game will cost £9.99/€12.99 with PS Plus subscribers getting an additional 20% off. CounterSpy will also be Cross-Buy, so you’ll own all the PlayStation versions, and there will be cross-save too so you can continue your progress on any of the consoles. Considering it’s such a weird story concept I may have to give this a go, especially since it’ll be cheap.

  1. Nice art-style, i’ll keep an eye out for more details as the release get’s closer.

  2. Looks good. August is starting to look pretty busy; TLOU, Hohokum and now this. With Destiny in September and DriveClub and Alien in October it looks like things are ramping up nicely.

  3. Why do the superpowers want to nuke the moon anyway?
Did someone tell them where the wizard came from, and they figured nuking the site was the only way to be sure?

    • They couldn’t agree on whether the sea-level would rise or fall without the moon, and decided there’s only one way to find out. All bets allowed.

      (I actually don’t know)

    • Two pop culture references in one sentence.. Well played! :)

      • Thanks! Disappointed that they seem to have removed the moon wizard line from the Destiny beta. There should be a campaign to get it reinstated!

  4. No! Bomb the moon, that’s where the wizards live!
