The New Assassin’s Creed Unity Trailer Showcases The Game Engine

Ubisoft have released a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed Unity which showcases the impressive new game engine. Described as a “true next-gen” experience the game proclaims it is the start of “a new era of gaming”, which sounds very exciting indeed.

Assassin’s Creed Unity hits the shelves at the end of October for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Ubisoft have yet to reveal their plans for the legacy consoles.

  1. These ‘tech’ videos aren’t exciting anymore, all of these videos are now rendered on devkits with much superior AA, effects and LOD than what will be actually in the final game. Blatant misrepresentation, pretty much every dev is guilty of it

  3. After the graphical downgrade debacle of Watch dogs I’m holding back on all pre-orders for games promising these sort of graphical upgrades. I’m not a graphics only games buyer, but Watch Dogs was the epitome of devs giving false impressions.

    • I’m a bit wary too. I traded Watchdogs in after about 3hrs play on the PS4 as apart from the main character model, it looked like a PS3 game.
      I’ll wait til I see some proper PS4 gameplay first, altho it is looking good.

  4. I played Black Flag on the PS3 and PS4 and you could tell the difference between the 2 games. Also Watchdogs was designed for all consoles. Hopefully this one being for next gen only will give fans something extraordinary
