If you’ve yet to get your hands on a PlayStation Vita, now may be the right time to start shopping around. Sony has just announced the new “Adventure Mega Pack” bundle which will be deploying in the EU “this Autumn.”
The bundle contains the latest, slimmer PlayStation Vita model as well as five of the handheld’s best hits. These include Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Tearaway, Gravity Rush, Escape Plan, and TxK. The whole lot comes to €199.99, working out roughly at £160.
There are a couple of drawbacks, however. All five of the games featured in the bundle will be digital-only, barely fitting onto the 8GB memory card supplied with the system. Uncharted: Golden Abyss takes up more than 3GB on its own if memory serves.
Though some gamers won’t be bothered in having to delete and re-download titles, for many it’s an exhausting process that could easily be remedied if Sony finally made their memory cards cheaper. Currently, even when buying second, you’d be lucky to get a gigabyte of data for each pound spent on one.

Not sure I see the point in this. There have been plenty of decent Vita bundles already and none have really helped breathe life into the failing console.
With Sony admitting the Vita won’t be seeing many/any major releases from now on I can’t see why people will bother coughing up well over £100 on it. At this point, people know the Vita is essentially a companion device to the PS4 so they would be better to slash the price considerably (£75 perhaps) rather than focusing on the handheld’s limited software.

You kind of came up with the point on your own. As you say it’s more of a companion device to the PS4. The PS4 now has a massive install base. It really does make sense to push it now more than ever and bundle in some of the best titles the Vita has to offer for when you want to game on the go. Clearly this is only my view on the sitch and I’m massively biased!

(My opinion only)
I think I will be waiting for PS TV.
I know some games will not be compatible due to the touch function but its probably more worth my money then forking out double for a slimmer version of the Vita.
Plus its a decent piece of kit.

Not interested at all. Really glad I held off getting gone of these.

I have had one since release and i have to say as good as it is the lack of console type games that were promised is a real let down.
I can honestly say that after 25 years of gaming this is my most regretted purchase. Theres not even a netflix app for the UK yet either.
Shocking lack of support for the console, its not even had a mention in the last few big game shows. Sony seem to be happy to see this little handheld go down the same road as kinnect 2.0.

In contrast to most of the views here I think you could do a lot worse than buy this pack. The console isn’t awash with AAA games but the ones in this pack are amazing (IMO).
The Vita has probably been my best purchase in my 27 years of gaming and probably my most used. If you have PS+ sub and have been ‘buying’ games for a while surely this deal is enough to push you over?
