GAME are known for their leaks, with individual branches of the retailer given their own twitter account to do what they want with. Just last week, in fact, a store revealed that the Destiny PS4 bundle would be coming at the discounted price of £349 before official channels.
So, it comes as no surprise that when one of those people behind the accounts got wind of a GTA V release date for PS4 and Xbox One, they revealed it to their fans.

Now, that’s a Saturday, and games usually release in the UK on a Friday, or a Tuesday if it’s a simultaneous international release, so you should take this one with a pinch of salt.
The account does tweet that it’s a “provisional” date, and that they’re only going by the date which is on their calendar, but it could be that Rockstar has given them a “November” release window (as it’s likely they’d have to prepare marketing material) and they’ve ran with that.
We haven’t heard much on the PS4 and Xbox One versions of GTA V since E3, have we? Hopefully we’ll get confirmation soon.
UPDATE:Â The GAME store has apologised, stating that they do not actually have a confirmed release date for GTA V.
We just want to clear the air…we do not have a confirmed date for #GTAV at this moment in time. As soon as we do we will communicate it

Confirmation along the lines that they are not going to charge full whack for a year old, re-released game, that in my opinion should have been ready to launch with the consoles

I hope there’s a discount for owners of the PS3/360 version.

If it’s going to be anything like TLoU Remastered I think it’s unlikely

Can’t wait! November feels like a long time away!

That’s the second time GAME Croydon have done that. The are either stupid, or playing us.

I remember Game tweeting TLOU would come out a couple of days after the Sony E3 show….and it was bollocks!
