Dying Light is coming out at the end of January next year. Its season pass will be available with pre-orders and to purchase at launch, costing $19.99, €19.99 or £14.99, depending on what part of the world you live in. The season pass will entitle you to three pieces of DLC, the first of which arrives hot on the heels of the game’s release, in February. That’s a bit quick.
The three “content drops” are Cuisine & Cargo, Ultimate Survivor Bundle and The Bozak Horde. The first of those will be available first to season pass holders and features two missions set in infected-stuffed buildings that were sealed off at the very start of the game’s outbreak. Strangely, the description says you can “Explore ominous corridors of once the most famous restaurant in Harran” which made me try to think of any restaurant I’d ever been in during the course of my life so far that had numerous corridors. Not an ideal food service floor plan, the corridor.
The second DLC drop awards seven unique items, three special outfits and four blueprints for weapons that will make things a bit easier in the quarantine zone.
Finally, the third piece of content promises a new map and gameplay. It’s set inside Harran Stadium, can be played alone or cooperatively and features waves of enemies sent by a mysterious new threat called Bozak.

I’m very much looking forward to this game but I’ve got to be honest. DLC that just give new guns etc just bore me. I like single player extensions much more. Just feel better for your money. Especially when it surely isn’t hard to create a couple of new guns (relative to the rest of the game).

Still not decided on this or Dead Island 2. I didn’t like DI’s glitches, poor story and clichéd characters – although it was mindless fun for the most part – so I may give this ago too.
Pretty good you get the season pass if you preorder, as some people will most likely preorder anyway.

Dead island 2 is being made by yager makers of special ops & also I heard there is going be a beta. I’m excited as I never played dead island cause of people’s horror stories but when I heard its yager developing was very excited

I have the feeling that “available with preorders” doesn’t mean that you get it for free preordering the game. They are only as nice as to let you buy the season pass in advance for £15.

Yeah, I read it a few times and because it said “with” preorders “and” to purchase at launch, I figured it comes with it, but I’m probably wrong. I know something or some mode is available for pre-orders only (I think you can play as a zombie in a particular mode or something).

On a slightly related note, I actually got my Far Cry 4 season pass (£23.99) free with my Kyrat Edition of the game, although that was limited to the purchases from the Ubishop.
