Bandai Namco are to bring the Japanese fighting game J-STARS Victory VS+ to all current PlayStation formats in Europe, launching sometime during the summer of next year.
It’s a slightly odd choice to bring to the west as the game stars characters from Jump magazine, both past and present. Some of these you may recognise, such as Naruto from, well, Naruto, and Luffy from One Piece whilst others including Meisuke Nueno from Hell Teacher Nūbē may leave you scratching your head.
Basically it’s loads of anime and manga characters whacking seven bells out of each, that’s got to be fun.
The game also has some bonkers ultimate moves including death by moustache and a small girl in a baseball cap who spilts the planet in half.

Maybe just maybe I will give this a spin… Especially if it gets a physical Vita release…
