New 3DS Launches 13th February Along With Majora's Mask 3D & Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

Lots of other games too.

Nintendo has confirmed that the new 3DS will be out on February 13th,and also stating that Majora’s Mask 3D will release on the same day. That’s not the only news as Nintendo also confirmed a Majora’s Mask hardware bundle which contains a special designed new 3DS XL console, and the game pre-installed. It will only be out in limited quantities so your best is to really go hunting for it now should you want that piece of kit

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate was one of the games confirmed for the 13th February launch date, and it will have both local and online multiplayer, supporting up to four players. Demo codes are being sent out, and these will have four codes so you can pass some on to your friends. There’s also a hardware bundle for that too.

Ironfall: Invasion was also announced as an eShop title. It’s a shooter which supports six player online multiplayer as well as local, and it will run at 60fps. The game does also have a single player campaign, and will also be out on February 13th. Pokemon Shuffle was also announced and it is a free to play title. Levels here cost hearts and you start with a limited number. Once hearts run out you have to wait for them to replenish, use an item, or buy more using real money.

Nintendo also announced that Mario Vs Donkey Kong: Tipping Stars will release in March, and it will be a cross-buy title. If you buy either the Wii U or 3DS version you will get a code for the other version, which you can use yourself or give away. Finally Xenoblade Chronicles for new 3DS will be releasing in April 2015. The Wii U Xenoblade Chronicles X also got a new trailer, and that will be out later this year.

Monster Hunter = no, it works on 2DS and 3DS.
Xenoblade = yes (I think). On the trailor it says “Only for new 3DS”, but I was watching without sound so I might have interpreted it wrong.

Xenoblade is New 3DS exclusive. Monster Hunter can be played on any 2/3DS.

Wish there was going to be a Monster Hunter special edition. First world problems.

    there’s something Nintendo should know.
if you can’t change the batteries in the machine, a charger is not an optional extra.
