Mad Max Is Coming Out September 4th

Warner Bros. has announced that Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max will release on the 4th September on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

It appears that the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions have been ditched in order to focus on the latest consoles as well as the PC version. The game is set to take place in a post-apocalyptic open world and will feature vehicular combat as well as on-foot action. It is unclear as to whether the game will tie in with the upcoming Mad Max: Fury Road movie, which is due to arrive on 15th May.

If you pre-order the game now you will receive a Magnum Opus car body named The Ripper which will come with a V8 engine, off-road tires and a ramming grill. Perfect for some open world destruction.

  1. Mad max and metal gear solid in September. Looking forward to September

  2. I don’t know much about the game, or the original film, but after watching the trailer for the new film, and now this news of dropping last gen and maybe not even being a cheap movie-game tie in, the game’s on my radar.

  3. Huh. Who knew the ‘Pimp My Ride’ team would live to see a post-apocalyptic future?

    • Haha i was thinking that just waiting for Xzibit to jump out and say about pimping his ride.

  4. Just me then that thinks it looks rather bland? I appreciate that it’s post apocalyptic but that looks like a crap load of desert and not much else.
