Squaring off against monsters is one of the major things you’ll be doing in The Witcher III: Wild Hunt when it launches in a couple of weeks, and the new trailer CD Projekt Red just released shows you how to do just that. Or it at least pushes you in the right direction.
Fighting monsters isn’t as simple as just walking up to them and whacking them in the leg with a stick; it seems to require planning, research and solid execution with Geralt’s trusty silver sword and maybe a bit of magic. Each monster has its own weakness and attack pattern, both of which can be discovered before ever facing off with one. And of course, you’ll also need to know where to find it if you’re looking for a particular monster, as it seems unlikely you’ll just stumble across it in your travels. The trailer below talks about all of that and should be a good piece of info for anyone planning to go on the Wild Hunt later this month.

Sounds and looks very very good from that trailer, I’ve had my eye on this for a while but that’s just piqued my interest. Can I find time for what is surely such a massive game though?

I have this pre ordered and looking forward to it. I was in the same mind frame as yourself Tony about lack of time but i have realised these type of games save me money! I’m still playing Dragon Age, should have it plat by the time the W3 comes out, and I’d say the W3 will keep me going untill No Man’s Sky!

I’m sold, give me the game already! Honestly though, this game is looking better and better each time I see it. I just need to finish up with Dragon Age before this is released in a couple of weeks.
