We had a listing for Darksiders II on PlayStation 4Â just over three months ago and at the time Nordic Games confirmed the listing was real and said nothing more.
Now we have some lovely box art, again from Amazon, and Nordic games are still saying nothing. More details at E3 then?

Joe Mad is the comic-book artist who was lead designer on Darksiders. Thought I should probably mention that.

No, it doesn’t really does it? But it did look extremely familiar to me – Think that image appeared on some kind of edition of the PS3/Xbox 360 version disc.
Possibly the limited edition (that was in no way limited at all!)?

Really should’ve put the first one in, that was quality. Had DS2 sst on my 360 had since it was given with Games with Gold and haven’t really got into it.

I’m the same as it happens – The trouble is that I can’t really see anything wrong with the second game (& by all rights it should in fact be better), but it just failed to grip me in the same way as the first for some reason.

I’m in the same boat!
I greatly enjoyed the first game through to completion. But never even got halfway into the second. And I can’t really say why.
I think I’ll give it another shot with this. At least it shouldn’t have any screentearing.

I did enjoy the story of Darksiders, particularly as the voice actor for War really made the character. With the sequel, like you & Kenny I just didn’t get drawn in.

Idk how to feel about more of these games coming to next gen consoles. They’re literally the high setting versions from PC.. Still, I’m not sure if a third Darksiders would be possible with Nordic games but it would be cool to see.

Getting fed up with remasters. I wouldn’t mind a remaster from the PS1 like Resident Evil as that made a huge difference and the age gap from PS1 to PS4 not PS3 to PS4!
