OlliOlli 2 Adds Combo-Rush Local Multiplayer In Free Update

OlliOlli 2 took what was already a great little skating game and made it even better, with a new art style, new places to visit and new tricks to let you string together longer and longer combos. One thing that didn’t quite make the cut for launch was the Combi-Rush split-screen multiplayer mode for PS4 – sadly it’s not doable for Vita players – but that has been rectified by today’s update.

There’s four game modes that put different spins on how the game plays, so that you might be scoring as high as possible in Time, trying to reach the end as quickly as possible in Race, getting just a single attempt at One-Shot or aiming to reach and land a target score before your mates in Score. This is then wrapped up in a tournament format with points handed out depending on how you placed, and the first to reach the target total taking the honours.

We already featured it in our review, anticipating its release, and this is pure head to head competitive play. As OlliOlli 2 Producer Tom Hegarty says, “OlliOlli2 has always been about lauding it over your friends, now you can laud it over them in person, right up in their face… If I could come up with a decent skating pun, I would.”
