Skullgirls Dev Reveals Next Game

Lab Zero Games, developer of acclaimed 2D fighter Skullgirls, has lifted the lid on its latest project. Titled “Indivisible” the studio’s latest game is an action RPG said to be inspired by Metroid and Valkyrie Profile.

The announcement trailer doesn’t give too much away. What we do know if that the story will lean heavily on Asian mythology as an influence as players continue to power-up alongside a growing roster of heroes. We can also expect Indivisible to sport the same hand-drawn 2D visuals seen in Skullgirls.

Lab Zero Games will be funding the project via Indiegogo – a platform similar to Kickstarter. You can’t blame them really, having received close to a million dollars for their campaign to expand Skullgirls with additional features and DLC.

  1. I’ve always been a fan of Skullgirls art but I’m not a fan of six button fighters in the vein of Street Fighter.
I do however love action RPGs so I’ll be keeping an eye on this, especially if it comes to PS4/Vita.
