Idea Factory International has announced that Megadimension Neptunia VII will be releasing in North America and Europe in Q1 2016 for PS4, the first game in the Neptunia series to make it to the console. The game released earlier this year in Japan, receiving postive reviews from the press.  The story places Neptune and co in the Zero Dimension, where a lonely CPU is trying to battle a more dominant evil being simply known as Dark CPU.

That VII is just to confuse things, isn’t it? It’s really V2. Or V-II. Not anything that could remotely resemble 7.
And changing from hyperdimension to megadimension is just to confuse things further? Someone’s bound to end up wondering what happened to the first 6 Megadimension Neptunia games and how/if they relate to the Hyperdimension Neptunia games.
Which is great. The obvious insanity of all those games might annoy some people, but it amuses me. And that naming just makes it even better. Looks quite nice on the PS4 too. Definite graphical improvement there.
Let’s hope it has something really weird in it too. Keiji Inafune popping up for no obvious reason, for instance?
