  1. What is the official RRP of a Standard non-bundle 500GB PS4 in the UK these days? £349? £299? I read on Twitter that it was “likely” to come down in Europe too in the near future so wondering what that might mean here.

    • I believe it’s £299

    • I read last month it’s still £349 but that the retailers are doing a stellar job offering us one game bundles for less than three hundred. I paid £319 for mine this time last year, with FIFA, just before the pre-Christmas deals kicked off so I missed out on the raft of offers and bundles! Never mind eh, it’s still been money well spent, unlike that bloody juicer my wife bought last year…

      • You can get the stand-alone PS4 for £249 at the moment but not sure what the RRP is currently.

      • Yeah there are some great deals popping up, like JR said Simply Games have a 500GB for £249. I got mine from there just over a year ago for £289 delivered so I would recommend them.

  2. If the XB1 isn’t the top seller in the US over the holidays I’d be very surprised. With Halo 5 and Tomb Raider on the horizon and Forza and Gears. If they don’t ‘win’ in December when Sony doesn’t have any big exclusives coming out, it could be seen as a huge blow for them.

    • Thing is, Sony will probably mop-up elsewhere so the global figures should be very different. Expect both of them to be harping on about their own respective “wins”. ;)

    • Nobody cares about those games. Forza looks and plays like an Xbox360 game, Halo is a tired franchise that’s been on the downward spiral for years. Tomb Raider is what you play if you can’t get Uncharted.

      • Well you’re a bundle of joy aren’t you! I think you’ve got the wrong site.

      • This is a Playstation site. Sixth axis….

      • I mean the tone of your post. People tend to avoid the “everything else is crap” attitude here. Keep it up and see how long it is until you get banned.

  3. Alea iacta est
