Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter Coming To PS4, Xbox One & PC In Spring 2016

Bigben Interactive has announced that it is bringing out a new Sherlock Holmes game which has the subtitle The Devil’s Daughter. The game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2016, with five cases being featured for Sherlock and Watson to solve. There are choices within that could alternate how each story plays out too. There is an open world (correction: An expansive playable terrain) to explore and action pieces will also be part of the The Devil’s Daughter.

Screenshots for Sherlock Holmes: The Devil’s Daughter were released alongside the announcement.

  1. I’m pretty sure I dated The Devils Daughter for a few months a couple of years ago.
Besides that, the screens don’t look too bad. Wonder whether its an adventure type game (Adventure as in a more serious Kings Quest Adventure game). In fact, are those kind of games even called ‘adventure’ game these days?

Thats probably the most times ever that I’ve typed in ‘Adventure’ in a couple of sentences.

    • No, it’s politically incorrect to call them ‘adventure games’ now. They’re ‘action-challenged interactive ventures’.

I like the Sherlock Holmes games we’ve had in PlayStation so far; I wonder if the open-world aspect actually differs in any real way from the previous instalments (where each case is its own mini open-world).
