Podcast: Episode 206 - Undertale, Fallout 4 & Star Wars

Did you miss us?

After an extended Christmas and New Year break, the podcast has made a triumphant return! Yes, we’re back and we’ve got a lot to say about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. From about the 28 minute mark this podcast turns into a Star Wars spoilercast, so if you haven’t seen the film yet maybe give everything after that a miss.

However, there’s plenty of good stuff before we get to Star Wars! We’ve got Dave’s views on Undertale, which do feature some spoilers unfortunately, and more of Lewis’ adventures in Fallout 4. It’s somewhat concerning how much time he’s spent in that game.

On top of that we, of course, have a quick look at the week’s news, coming in the form of VR Roller Coasters and Amazon Prime discounts.

  • Please send us questions via email to podcasts[at]thesixthaxis.com.
  • You can also tweet questions to @TSAPodcast.

This podcast features strong language, jokes in poor taste and adult themes, if you’re offended by that then we recommend that you don’t listen to it at all.

  • As usual, you can grab the MP3 file here (right click to download).
  • You might want to get it (when the RSS catches us) on the RSS feed, here.
  • We’re on iTunes, when iTunes feels like updating. You can also leave us a review and subscribe there, if you want to be particularly lovely.
  • We’ve launched ourselves on YouTube, with audio-only videos if that’s easier for you to access.
  • Finally, the podcast now appears on Stitcher as well.

The VR rollercoaster sounds like a completely mad idea :D but I would try it out if only I knew how VR feels like for my stomach and eyes.

No Amazon in Poland, sooo don’t give a ‘short s word’.

Undertale actually sounds very interesting, but as long as it’s not on console I’m not gonna play it, so on to the next topic.

Fallout again. Bleh! The game is crap. Everyone knows it now after they played it a bit more. SHadow of Mordor is better (!) but the Brotherhood were the good guys in F3.

I’d loved the movie. I’m thinking about watching it again in cinema this week with my dad. It was fantastic. Every bit of it. Even my wife, which did not see any Star Wars parts since a few months before the VII part, she liked it very very much.

I normally write and listen to you guys but the SW talk was so enjoyable I got really sucked in :P A few comments from me are that I also do like Rey, she is a great character, her acting is top and overall she’s the best, but I also get the mixed feeling about her beating up Kylo who seemed stronger than Anakin/Vader. Their fight is basically the only mixed feeling I have about the movie, while the rest is just fantastic. Beautifully done. Every part of it. I just love it.

The first Thor film is horrible. What are you saying Lewis. God! Hell with that, I’m going to buy Shadow of Mordor now.
