South Park: The Fractured But Whole Featurette Shows The Creative Process

A small featurette has been released to show the creative process going on behind South Park: The Fractured But Whole, which is due out in December. The video has the Ubisoft team along with Trey Parker and Matt Stone discussing how ideas are being implemented into the game, and some of the changes from The Stick Of Truth. One of the main parts being changed is the battle system, and there is a bit more of a look at its tactical nature within the video.

The whole thing is worth a watch to see how the creative process from the South Park show is being further adapted for games, as well as how Trey and Matt are handling the game developement schedule. There’s also little tidbits like the original game title being “The Butthole of Time”, but rejected due to the fact stores probably wouldn’t display the game.

  1. Butthole of time isn’t allowed but stealth bastard is? Unless Stealth Bastard was a digital only game.

Eitehr way, I have full faith that not only will it live up to Stick of Truth but will exceed it as Bigger Stick of Truth. Shame it’s not on PS3 but like always, it’ll be added to my ever growing list of games to get when i get a PS4.

My wallet may sue me for abusing it.

    • To be fair Stealth Bastard had to be renamed when it went to from PC to consoles.
