[UPDATE] The Mass Effect: Andromeda Deluxe And Collector's Editions Have Leaked

Multiplayer, skill trees and remote controlled Nomads!

North American retailer Best Buy has jumped the gun and posted details for the Deluxe version of Mass Effect: Andromeda. According to the blurb the game comes with multiplayer for up to four players and destructible environments, which is to be expected as it is running on the same engine as Battlefield 1.

The listing also mentions “boosted jumps for added verticality” and a “much more flexible skill and weapon progression tree”. What it doesn’t list is what makes this the deluxe version, but I guess we will find out later. Here is the box art.

There’s also a placeholder Amazon.com earlier listing for a collector’s edition which includes a remote controlled Nomad ND1:

Elsewhere on this day of celebration for the Mass Effect franchise, Insert Coin have announce a new range of game themed clothing for Mass Effect, including stuff inspired by Andromeda.

UPDATE: The Collectors edition with the vehicle is exclusive to GAME in the UK and will cost you just £279.99.

Hahhahahahaha. No.

The same thing costs $199 in the states. Add on the maximum sales tax – 10% – and we get $220. That’s £177. Care to explain the other £100, GAME?

Oh, was expecting more and was about to go “FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!” due to lack of job thus no PS4 thus no getting it.

Is that the citedal on fire!? Colour me interested.

I do hope they’ll do a female reverse cover for it. Granted, there is not much they could do apart from well, having the female figure on it but it was a neat touch in ME3 and I kinda like reverse covers. I loved Bioshock Infinites one. Hope we either get something that makes it stand out or just a ME3 type affair in terms of box art.

Kinda would get the collector’s edition. Stupid lack of job in my life resulting in me missing most collectors stuff.

Stupid Dishonoured 2 and it’s collector’s edition sparking my desires for collectors editions when I was content being without that desire.

I blame EA for this. :P

I hate to think what the collectors edition costs with the Nomad ND1. If it’s anywhere near Amazon’s ‘holding price’ of $200 I’ll not be buying it.

The collection doesn’t even include a game!

I think you worked out what $199 with tax would be wrong.

$199 (the US price without any taxes) is about £160, so add 20% to that (as that’s the VAT rate) and you get about £193. So it’s only £87 Game are adding.

Which is still terrible. They’ll probably let you try it first for a tenner though.
