Live Symphonic Odyssey London Concert Celebrates The Music Of Nobuo Uematsu

Maybe you recognise his name, maybe you don’t, but Nobuo Uematsu’s music will be very familiar to millions of people around the world. It’s not just the Final Fantasy series that he’s composed for, but Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and more, and these works are being celebrated in the Symphonic Odysseys London concert.

The concert will take place on 20th June at the Barbican, with tickets going up for sale at 10AM tomorrow morning here, his works will be performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Eckehard Stier, alongside the London Symphony Chorus, acclaimed pianist Mischa Cheung and (best of all) a full kazoo fanfare.

Nobu Uematsu will also be in attendance, and if you go to the ticketed, pre-concert show, he’ll be talking to the audience and answering questions.

Tickets for the concert cost between £30 and £65, with the pre-concert talk a further £10. You will be able to buy them from 10AM tomorrow, 10th February, either from the LSO website or the Barbican.
