Marvel Heroes Omega Will Make Its Way To Xbox One On June 20th

Gazillion has confirmed that the free to play title Marvel Heroes Omega will be releasing for Xbox One on June 20th. The game has been confirmed for PS4 as well. In Marvel Heroes Omega players can guide a number of Marvel heroes through various quests and events while teaming up with other players. With the announcement of the Xbox One release date Gazillion gave information on what players can do once they hit level 60.

After hitting level 60 with players can complete Heroic, Superheroic, and Cosmic Trials. which will net more XP and large credit drops as well as unlock new difficulty tiers. Hitting level 60 also unlocks the Infinity Point system for all of the player’s characters, with these points being redeemable to make the heroes stronger. Obviously though it will take a lot of time to hit that level 60 cap.

DCUO is a fairly typical MMORPG thing where you don’t get to play as the DC characters.

Marvel Heroes is more of a Diablo clone. And you get to play as the actual characters rather than just “Generic flying man who doesn’t understand how underwear works”.

Looks like it’s coming on Tuesday for the PS4. Well, the open beta is, which seems to have all the trophies and everything, so let’s just say “open beta” is the same as properly launching. All that all happen when it properly launches is there’ll be an update that removes the words “open beta” and any notices saying “don’t blame us if it all goes horribly wrong, it’s only a beta”.
