Lawbreakers has always been pitched as a twitch shooter for the hardcore PC gamer – and does a pretty good job of it – but it looks like Boss Key and Nexon have relaxed their stance on that, with the announcement of a PlayStation 4 version of the game alongside PC. It will launch simultaneously for both platforms later this year.
It’s an interesting move for what is a very reflex-driven and demanding shooter on PC, but makes sense to try and help it reach a mass market. It’s also set to follow in the footsteps of Blizzard and Overwatch, with a one off $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99 price point for the base game and all future content updates coming for free. It will, of course, be supported by cosmetics and a “Stash-Box” system.
It’s a big deal for Nexon, with President and CEO Owen Mahoney saying, “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Cliff and his team to bring such a unique and challenging combat experience to PS4. This marks a major milestone for Nexon as we launch onto a home videogame console for the first time in the company’s history.”

One question-who is Cliff?
Tuffcub
Cliff Bleszinski aka Cliffy B.
The man who said of Lawbreakers, “And no, there won’t be a fake CG trailer showing “Gameplay” because that’s not how @bosskey does it.”
