If there’s one game quite a few of us are interested in seeing more of here at TSA it’s the next entry to God Of War. What we’ve seen so far of the new Nordic setting has looked very intriguing, and with E3 just a couple of weeks away it is likely Sony will be giving us more details of what we can expect from Kratos’ next tale. They may even share a release date and details of a collector’s edition too, but German retailer Spielegrotte may have already ruined that surprise.
While a release date of January 18th is listed on the site it’s being treated as nothing but a placeholder right now. Instead let’s have a look at what could be in the collector’s edition, which is priced at €199.99.
- BD game
- 9 inch statue of Kratos & Atreus battling 2 Helwalkers
- Two carved sons toys figurines
- Steelbook case
- Exclusive Lithograph print
- Cloth game world map
- Digital soundtrack
- Exclusive dynamic theme
- Shield pack containing 3 in-game shields
Again this could all have been put up mistakenly, or things could change with line up but if you’re into collecting then maybe keep an eye out for more details.

200 euroes!? For something that sounds rather average in terms of collector’s edition. Maybe, the statue could be worth an extra 20 but 200? surely, it is worth at most, 100 or so. I will admit, my knowledge of collector editions is poor but a statue, cloth map and standard digital stuff(soundtrack, in game stuff etc) is not worth 200 quid.
