Middle-earth: Shadow Of War Delayed Until October

Missing late summer launch.

Bad news fantasy fans, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War has been pushed back from its original August 22nd launch date. Instead, as Monolith has just announced, the sequel will release on October 10th instead, rubbing shoulders with some of 2017’s heaviest hitters.

From what the studio has said, it appears as though Monolith is simply giving itself extra time to ensure the best quality experience.

It’s a bummer, sure, but if Shadow of War can improve on the original, it will be wroth the wait.

I’m never too upset by delays as I always prefer a better game to an unfinished one but I hope it doesn’t get swallowed by the other big releases that it’ll be competing against at that time.
I think if the comes out before the new Assassin’s Creed it should be good.
