Live from Sony’s E3 presser, we were treated to an extended look at extended gameplay from Bend Studio’s upcoming zombie action-adventure title Days Gone. The section showcased scripted events mixed with dynamic gameplay, as the protagonist set out in search of a missing member of their gang.
From fairly convincing-looking motorbike riding, to some brutal combat, some of which is stealth-based, the absolutely killer feature remains the zombie hordes; immense groups of terrifying undead creatures that react to loud noises, a fact that can be used to your advantage.
Days Gone is still slated for a 2017 release, but we’ll be damned if Sony actually announced a release date or confirmed that intention in today’s show…

I would have like to seen a bit more of the large hordes from the first trailer but i was pleased that they showed other aspects of the game. It looks great and a lot more rounded out than i was expecting.
