Ghost Recon Wildlands' PvP Mode Ghost War Enters Open Beta September 21st

You don't need to own the game to play.

Ghost recon Wildlands’ PvP mode is a portion of the game that I personally have been looking forward to, with that being down to experiences had in co-op taking on the cartel in Bolivia. Today Ubisoft has finally confirmed that the PvP mode, known as Ghost War, will be entering open beta on September 21st and will run until September 25th.

As the open status implies anyone can download the beta regardless of whether they own the game or not, with the beta being available to pre-load from the 19th. In the beta players will compete in 4v4 team deathmatch rounds with tactical play being paramount to success. There are a total of 12 classes in Ghost War but only six of them will be present within the beta itself. When Ghost War officially releases it will do so as a free update for all Ghost Recon Wildlands owners.

The cover system is practically non-existant. Can’t see this being any good tbh.

I had high hopes for this game following The Division. But it’s so dull – they’ve spent so much time creating a huge map, but with uninspired missions. Collectables were a joke too.

Pop-up is terrible, worse in fact following the latest 9gb patch.

Cover system is non-existent – enemies can shoot you through buildings/walls – and the hit detection (received) is so inaccurate.

I sincerely hope this DLC/update has no trophies so I don’t “have” to play it to restore my 100%. That being said, I’m pretty sure the season pass was supposed to give 3 DLCs, so if this is free it could mean yet another update will be coming. Oh joy.
