News Snatch: Mercenary Kings Reloaded, Algo Bot, Pokémon GO, And Rainbow Six Siege

Ooh, Luther!

“The best thing, in life come in threes”, sang Janet Jackson and Luther Vandross and the team behind Pure Farming 18 agree. Their new trailer showcases the three modes available in the game, My First Farm, Farming Challenges, and Free Farming.

PUBG Corporation (you can guess what game they make) are opening a new office in Amsterdam next month to help expand the game.

Mercenary Kings is getting a substantial update in the form of Mercenary Kings: Reloaded Edition which will add new content and refine the gameplay and user experience. It’s coming out on 6th Feburayr for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and even the little old PS Vita.

The good news is that if you already own Mercenary Kings on PC and PS4 (the only platforms it’s currently out on) you will get a free update, and that includes everyone who got the game as part of PlayStation Plus. Huzzah!

Raid: World War II didn’t do very well for Starbreeze, sales were, “significantly below the Company’s expectations, despite several measures taken,” so they’ve flogged another $30 million worth of shares so they have some cash to promote Overkill’s The Walking Dead.

According to Gi.Biz some of the cash will also be used for “publishing new games that were not on the business plan it created in October 2017; the expansion of its existing game portfolio to new platforms and international territories, including the extension of Payday 2’s development roadmap into 2019; and the acceleration of the production plan for Payday 3.”

Algo Bot is a super cute puzzle game which challenges players to control the movements of a lowly maintenance droid aboard the pan-galactic colonisation ship Europa. The game teaches kids the basics of computer programming including variables and subroutines.

Pokémon GO has been updated with new Rock- and Ground-type Pokémon including Aggron, Trapinch, Nosepass, Camerupt, Lunatone, and Solrock. Polish up your balls and get catching!

Lost Sphear has launched and here’s the launch trailer. (Why I reading this in the same voice as “I’m Cristina, and here’s my ass”? #MDWAP)
