Media Molecule’s Dreams Will Let You Make PSVR Games

Sony have previously said that Media Molecule’s ambitious title Dreams will have “limited” support for PlayStation VR, but a feature in the latest issue of Edge magazine states that the full ‘Create’ mode will be available to those with PSVR.

This means you should be able to build and share PlayStation VR games, although this support will not be available at launch and will be patched in at a later date.

The magazine also reports that there will be systems that monitor for sexual content or graphic violence, so you won’t be able to create a massive VR schlong in your games. Frankly that’s half the fun of having a creation tool, the first thing everyone makes is a crudely drawn willy.

Bah to you Media Molecule, bah I say!

  1. Don’t talk to me about crudely drawn VR willies!

My attempts at drawing things in Rec Room always end up looking like that, no matter what I try and draw. Which isn’t good if you’re playing “charades” and people have to guess what you’re drawing.

Ok, so I wasn’t helping things when I tried to draw a trumpet and it ended up looking like an enormous blue penis. And I thought “I know, I’ll pick up my drawing and mime blowing it, because that’s what you do with a trumpet”.

You’d think it helps if you manage to end up in a game with adults rather than teenagers. It really doesn’t.
