Double Fine has announced that it will be publishing Foam Sword’s action adventure title Knights and Bikes, which met its Kickstarter goal back in March. The game has been developed by people who worked on games such as LittleBigPlanet, Tearaway, and Ratchet & Clank. You’ll see from the trailer that there seems to be some inspiration from Tearaway when it comes to design.
The main characters are Nessa & Demelza who explore the island they live on and get involved with a series of adventures that can help the adults overcome their problems. As they make progress with helping people the girls will gain new abilities that allow further exploration of the island which in turn adds new adventures. Knights and Bikes will feature both online and local co-op.
Knights & Bikes has been confirmed for PS4, PC, Mac, and Linux.
