Hey guys,
I loaded up MW2 tonight to find there was a new patch to install.
While playing online after, the game crashed 3 times in about two hours. Had to long press the power button to get the ps3 to turn off. I got the game launch week and haven't ever had an issue. I've very rarely had to power down my ps3 in that way at all.
Anyone else noticed any problems since the latest patch was released??

Yeah me and 3 other guys tried going online tonight after the mw2 meet had died down. The first try it found nobody and the second time the game lasted 30 secs before freezing.

I've heard about this happening as well. Although, there was a TSA Modern Warfare 2 meet last night and I personally had no problem.

It was a bit inconsistent.
Happened once in the lobby, once while playing a game, and once when the scores were up at the end.
Over two hours it was ok and i got a good few games in, but it's enough to worry me for a while!!
Hope it's not my ps3 beginning to die :(

that was my fault, i epicly sniped someone mid air, and it broke the game lol

Yeah, I'm having the same problem.
In the beginning it freezed just when i joined a game, then it worked for several day, and now I barely can get into the online menu, and I haven't been able for days now.
I'm so annoyed, because my friends plays shameless, but mine simply won't :(
Anyone aware of some status on fixing this problem? Or where I can get more information on fixing it?
