MW2 Multiplayer Load-outs Forum

Simple question: Whats your favourite setup for mp? Which perks, killstreaks, deathstreak and weapons?

(I know thats really 2 questions :p)

In MW1 I used P90 with silencer, stopping power, fragx4, and dead silence. I have yet to open up most of the perks in Mw2 so haven't really found my ideal setup.

the best perk so far for me (lvl 21 – that not really good) is bling. I use that on the first assault , M something, attatchments grenade launcher and the image of flaming bullet(sorry about the names – i'm losing my memory.. now where'd i put those emega3 vitamins?)

Oh yh, and scrambler. Fave killstreak, (because i'm rubbish and rarely get above killstreak of 7) is the emergency pack. 4 care packages, usually contains ammo, predator missiles, and harriers.

I've still not settled on mine. Depends on the map too, for large open maps love the Famas, but have been using the M4 with Silencer and ACOG, PP2000 with Silencer, Bling, Stopping Power and Scrambler alot at the moment. Just unlocked the TAR as well which i quite like.

My general set ups are:

SCAR H or UMP 45 w/ silencer, AA-12 w/ RDS Marathon, Stopping Power, Steady Aim, Final Stand

Intervention w/ FMJ, PP2000 w/ silencer Sleight of Hand, Stopping Power, Steady Aim, Final Stand

Riot Shield, AA-12 w/ RDS Marathon, Stopping Power, Commando, Final Stand.

Killstreaks: Care package, Harrier Strike, Pave Low/Chopper Gunner

All works quite well for me =)

Im mostly using a Scar H, with red dot sight, PP2000 w/throwing knives and stuns grenades.  Perks are Marathon, Move faster and steady aim, although I've got some different setup, that seems to work best for now (still got lots to unlock yet)

I had a go with the UMP last night as its seem to be a popular choice and all I got was my ass kicked..  Just felt really underpowered and/or inaccurate to me, so I went back to the Scar, unlocked the Holographic sight too :)

But why?  Whats so good about the UMP?

I've read that:

The Red Dot is slightly less accurate as it moves slightly as you turn, the Holographic stays in the centre when you turn. Also, the Red Dot is effected by EMP and the Holographic isn't.

I've only read that though, so I cannot confirm if it is true.

Ah, makes sense that the holographic sight is better as it's unlocked by using the red dot sight. Thank you.

I currently have the SCAR-H with Heartbeat sensor and ACOG sight. I find it best if I just ignore the Heartbeat Sensor most of the time but if they are near I at least know about it. I have some Uzi like gun as my secondary and the perks Hardline, Bling and Scrambler. Kill streak of UAV, Predator Missile and Chopper Attack.
