I finally got around to having a go at this game a few days ago playing at a mate's house. We had a lot of fun tackling the split screen Special Ops missions, so much so, that I'm tempted to get the game myself so that we can play some more Special Ops online.
However, I've read about a lot of people having serious lag issues when playing Special Ops online, and I was just wondering whether many TSA'ers have experienced any lag problems, and/or whether the problem has been patched.

I played with a mate last night, and when one of us went down and had to be revived it started to lag really badly. I think it has gradually got better, but it's still not excellent.

There's always been lag on it, most of the time you just have to hope that the lag gods smile on you if you want to complete some of the harder missions.

Depends, i can play with some mates and its perfect, others and its a nightmare. I much prefer doing it splitscreen anyway, its much easier to communicate and you can just look at the other persons screen to find out what theyre doing.
I think you should get it, if you liked the spec-ops, your'll like the single player missions. Plus the online is great.

I think I'm still probably going to get it, but I'm a bit disappointed to hear that the online for special ops is still a bit laggy at times. I agree that split screen is the preferable option, but we'll probably get the opportunity to play online more often, so I was hoping that any lag issues had been resolved.
Now I just need to find a good price for it!!

I've completed most of the Special Ops missions & haven't experienced any lag at all really.
Well, none that I've noticed anyway.

I havent had any real problems with it, the lag isnt any worse than it is with MP, which is okay for me.. Guess I just got lucky, but I think ISP has a lot to do with it.

I've played Spec Ops with a fair few people online and only suffered once, but was ok the next day.
But tried playing Spec Ops to help my friend get his last few stars and it was horrific.
We both reset our routers and it got slightly better, but it was still pausing every half a second. Bad times.
