I got done by someone like this… Was just running around and then bang, a blooming knife was sticking out of my head. I watched the kill cam and it came from the other side of the map (you know the one with the canal running through the middle of it)… Thought the guy must have been glitching or something, but put it down to a lucky (VERY) throw….

At 1st I HATED the knives. Then I got the shield and the knife during a capture the flag match and found my niche 
That being said my knife kills tend to be a few feet as the "tango" is reloading… never thrown a BOMB like that!

I just managed to clip a camper in the eye with a throwing knife from the top of the stairs in Terminal Search and Destroy.
