A few, but not so many years ago, when I was a young boy, I recall playing a game on the PC but I can not remember the name of it. I'm basically going to give a few bullet points describing the game (some of which may be inaccurate as I can not remember it that well), and I'd be very grateful if you guys could utilise your gaming knowledge to aid me in finding the name of the game :)
- The basic idea of the game was you did some platforming kind of levels, then built different vehicles and had to race this other dude across a series of different vehicle types
- You never actually controlled the vehicle, you just built it then watched it race the other guy
- The graphics were simple, cartoony
- I don't think it's an overly well-known or high rated game
- I'm sure I recall that either you play as a professor or you race against one… I'm not sure
If anybody knows what the name of this game is… You are a gaming guru.

only think I can think of that it sounds vaguely similar to is Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts but that was a 360 game from a few years back.

Loved that game CB, had a tonne of fun making designs of crazy vehicles on it

It wasn't part of a well-known franchise, it's so irritating not knowing what it was.
It was definitely a pc game and is relatively old; I'ma never find the name of it
