OfflineModerator Notice: How to Post Images
Teflon: Right, how to post images. With the restored rich text editing, it's a fair bit different.
What you need to do is click the little tree square in the formatting bar, the right most button. Then paste in the direct link to your image. That's the one with .jpg at the end (or .png etc).
If it works, then it will automatically detect and fill in the pixel values for the Dimensions field, but you'll want to change those, most likely. If it's wider than, you'll want to change the first field to read 750 or less, delete the second field and just hit "insert".
That will then load the image into the text field, and it'll all work fine and dandy.
The thread where generally all the best Steam screenshots are possibly shared, be it glitchs, outstanding vistas, some random shit or Land sharks….
Behold… human beings I killed the sun, for a day (I think) its like Friezas Death Ball from Dragonball Z (it kills planets)

OfflineIt's surprising how lovely Overlord could look on the PC every now and again. However, I shan't be returning as there was no map (or at least I don't think so) which made the game very frustrating. It's the only game I've ever played nearly to completion then become annoyed enough where I simply deleted it. Like a little baby flushed around the u-bend and sent out to sea, the game is now dead to me.

Many of you will have seen my plight for single player experiences being sold separately. It's why I don't buy Activision's Call of Duty series until I feel they're financially justifiable. Black Ops, MW and MW3 all bought on Steam for under £20 (each). Modern Warfare 3 was played just last week and it looked fantastic. A little soulless but the game wasn't trying to win awards for art direction. Credit given, it felt visually immersive as I tore around the world trying to blow shit up!

Ah, Dungeon Defenders. Enormous amounts of co-op fun with Nemesis, AG2297 (who you can see below), Yogdog, etc. Adam was trying out this new weapon and it lit up our HQ (which is a tavern). So much so that it was shooting flames out of the back of the weapon too. Utterly over the top and possibly close to setting a gfx card on fire.

Dead Island. The game I've yet to return to. I've tried it for an hour or so and haven't quenched my zombie thirst with it since although I might soon as I do hate buying games and realising I've truly wasted my money. Anyway, the view over the balcony was lovely. It really gave you a feeling of "oh, wow… this island is superbly detailed" even if things weren't so great close-up.

And there ends my Steam screen shots for now. I'll take some more visually pleasing/humourous ones as I progress through my games.
Lovely thread, fella. ![]()

OfflineFirst of all starting with Left 4 Dead 2. 95% of my time on this game was co-op/multiplayer but this screenshot happened to be when playing with the AI and we managed o make one hell of a bloody mess just as a "boomer" zombie (he explodes horribleness on to you when hit) was about to throw up on me.
Here we have a character from Dungeon Defenders. Pretty sure Bunimomike is behind this fine suit of armour but he looked so cool I felt the need to screenshot it.
The Darkness 2, so much short term fun, so little long term motivation. This poor guy has just been impaled through the mouth with my rod.
This is from Skyrim. It looks like it could be something the developers release as a screenshot but this is generally something I just took in-game while wondering around. I've took so many screenshots in Skyrim, I just found the world to be so beautiful.
One more from Skyrim just because the game is so god damn good looking.

OfflineThis is Phil (nemesisND1derboy) sitting on a toilet in the dark in Left 4 Dead 2. This became a ritual where everytime we found a toilet in the game, Phil would sit on it and I would take a picture. During this time poor Hanny and Mike would be fighting off four peoples worth of zombie hoard just so me and Phil could complete the ritual. Why did we do it? Fuck knows, but I regret nothing.
This is Craig Charles in Left 4 Dead 2, courtesy of some witchcraft from Colin (Duffybox).
This is from Deus Ex: Human Revolution, another fantastic looking game in my opinion.

OfflineWoah, PC games really do look beautiful. I'm way behind because I haven't used a PC for games since the good old days of Red Alert 2, and that was nothing graphically special.
Also, Gazza that 3rd Assasins Creed picture tickled me. It looks like he's posing for the camera *oh hey… yeah just hanging out in my tree, like my boots?*

OfflineLovely stuff, Gazza. Especially Crysis… STILL! *rolls eyes at hardware required when it was released*
Mafia II is still proving immense fun! I'll go into it in detail in the 'What Games Are You Playing Now' thread when I've finished it. However, very, very good purchase. Thanks to person678 for the recommendation.
Lovely touch is that you go away (prison) for six bloody years! This means technology has moved on a fair bit. Newer cars. Nicer cars. Faster cars! ;)

I'll try not to post too many from Mafia II. Just stupid (or stunning) stuff from now on.
Gazza… those AC3 shots looks very low on detail (and pretty much everything else). That's on your PC? If so… wow, in comparison to even Crysis. Looks like it's been ported from the consoles and nothing done to it other than upped in rez and maybe some more anti-aliasing.
I'm also gobsmacked in a good way. You know how you collect things in GTA games? In Mafia II you collect Playboy magazines! Hahaha. (Not safe for work but still softcore). Awesome.

Offline@ Mike – Yep, that's AC3 with everything running on max, (except AA which is on high as there's a graphical bug if you have it on max with some AMD cards) and it looks like nothing in comparison to Crysis which is 5 years old!
I'm keen to download and try Metro 2033 which I got in the humble bundle, that's supposed to be really impressive too.

OfflineAs I bid a fond farewell to Mafia II (lovely fun and finished it last night) you can head over to What Games Are You Playing Right Now thread and help me decide. I've pasted an image of my Steam list to highlight my choices. ![]()
