I'm hoping I can do it all in this playthrough, I think I can use the bathespshere to go back to those locations and smash their metal frames to bits! Then rescue the little bugger. It will require some planning to get all the trophies, and whilst I don't really like using a guide to do stuff I am going to have to here because of the diaries! And some of the tonics can be awkward like you say.
Oh yeah, forgot you could do that – you should be fine then! Just try not to use much ADAM upgrading your health and eve, you'll need it to buy tonics etc! Let us know how you get on! ![]()

Attempting to plat Mass Effect 2 before Mass effect 3 is released. Playing through a run on Insanity at the moment and it's really hard :( anyone else done this if so what class did you use? My soldier doesn't seem to be doing that well…
The soldier is supposed to be one of the easiest classes to play with. Besides the Soldier I think the Sentinel is a very good choice, besides being loads of fun, the sentinel has a brilliant shield and several biotic powers that really help. The shield really is excellent and is what really gives that boost. That was the class I did it with and it wasn't too difficult. ![]()
EDIT:
You'd also be better off starting a new character as once you hit level 30, you've maxed out your character, yet the enemies keep gaining levels – which makes the game much harder. That could be your problem here, I'd recommend starting fresh

Yeah, the first one was a little more 'open-world' (as such) as the bathysphere was available until almost the last level of the game, so it's a little less restrictive than the second one (which a lot of people complained about due to its more linear nature) & things can be gone back for if necessary.
Its been some time since i played of course, but i recall the life saving plasmid for me was the 'Hypnotize Big Daddy', as it just made the process of saving the Little Sisters so much easier. Just use your plasmid on a random Big Daddy walking around & have him follow you like a puppy until you reach a Big Daddy guarding a Little Sister. One bullet into the Big Daddy (the one guarding the Little Sister of course) enrages him & he starts to attack… But him attacking you enrages your Big Daddy friend & you can then just sit back & watch the two of them go at it!
Come the end, you will either have no work to do or very little in puting the finishing touches to your enemies demise.
Unfortunately, the 'Hypnotize Big Daddy' plasmid isn't available until quite a bit later into the game, so this will be of relatively no use to you now, but its great to bear in mind for the future as you play through. This method should work for all Big Daddies.
As for weapons, i used them all on regular occasions to conserve the various ammo types (& deal with different situations), but i did have a strong reliance on the pistol (upgraded of course), the grenade launcher & the shotgun quite regularly. The situation often determined what weapon i was to use though.
& yes, do as much research as soon as you can, as it will only help.![]()

The game is only really hard upto and including Horizon, after that choose 5 missions with good upgrades before being forced to go to Collector Ship. Once the mission for the Reaper IFF appears – DO NOT go to it. This is the point in the game at which you can get EVERYTHING except Legion's loyalty mission done. Do LOTS of mining.
If you are a soldier (like me), one of the best teams are Thane/Samara (Good damage and Biotics – Brill for final few missions) and Thane/Garrus (Double Snipe team + you as a sniperwith Adrenaline Rush works well) also for your loyalty power try and stick to an Ammo Type (I chose Warp Ammo and turned it into Squad Warp Ammo).
When getting weapon upgrades try to max out upgrades for weapons YOU use first. Weapon choices for the squad should be:
Rifles: Squad=Vindicator You=Geth Assault Rifle/Revenant/Vindicator (Revenant from Collector Ship if Soldier,
Geth from tali aquisition mission on Hardcore or higher
Sniper: Squad=M29 Incisor You=Viper/Widow (Widow from collector ship if you picked it instead of Revenant)
Shotgun: Squad=Eviscerator You=Eviscerator (Tali/Legion=Geth Shotgun, Grunt=M-300 Claymore)
SMG: Everyone who can=M9 Tempest
Heavy Pistol: Everyone=Carnifex Hand Cannon
If you are in doubt after all that, I imported my level 30 character and I have autosaved at the second portion of the final boss with everyone including Normandy Crew ALIVE.

So how comes Trophes from Vita dont show up on your PS3 profile?
They will eventually. Just not yet. One of those things to fix after release.
Still think they should be seperate personally, but whatcha gonna do?
Why's that? I think it's a good sign, as it means our trophy levels will probably carry forward to PS4 and onwards. People can always setup a new ID if they want to keep them seperate or start new on PS4. This way it'll finally give me the chance to catch some of you guys if I can work towards a few Platinums on my lunch breaks! ![]()
