TSA has decided to end its relationship with Games Basement. You'll notice that the Games Basement logo has now gone, and the TSA-Points-to-Games-Basement-Credit feature is no longer available on TSA. We took this decision because of concerns over Games Basement's service, especially after these concerns were raised in our forum and via email directly to TSA.
TSA did speak to Games Basement regarding the issues and they were honest about the problems they'd encountered. However, we felt it best to end the relationship as it stood.

Sad to hear Michael, but maybe it is for the best.
Are our TSA points worthless now or is something else coming down the pipeline?

Nah, we'll find a use for them.

This is a good thing for TSA. I, like many, utilised the service of Gamesbasement as a result of the affiliation but only experienced a shoddy service to be honest. I am not going to go into details but am glad to see it has ended.
On a side note, the current advertising setup has been implemented and setup really well.

You took them all down an alley and shot them, didn't you?

I'm now glad that I never used Games Basement!
We can only go up from this! :)

The "buy games" link that takes you to Gamesbasement is still at the bottom of the page…

I used the £5 voucher to pre-order GT5 from GamesBasement.
The amount has already been debited from my account but I'm not sure wether to cancel the order or not…

Its a shame the association didnt work out. It was a great idea but I think its for the best that it came to an end as it was starting to have an adverse effect on the site.

Hi
I am new to this forum but I was wondering if someone can help me out, I am living in Western Australia and back in the beginning of November last year I bought 2 games off Gamesbasement, 1 was the PS3 version of the new call of duty game and 1 was for the PC version, the PS3 one was delivered but I am still waiting for the PC one.
I have emailed them about 6 times now and not one reply and I have also tried ringing the UK with the number they have on their website but all I get is an engaged tone, as I cannot get through to them at all has anyone any suggestions as to how I contact them, as I am now starting to believe they have kept the money I paid for the game.
Thanks

Now that sounds like a pretty nasty situation…
Anyway, here's some suggestions. Firstly, have you checked the status of your order on the site itself? When you log in, all of your recent orders appear and next to them should be the order status. It usually either says "order in processing" or "order dispatched". Now, if you have checked that and it says "dispatched" I would personally wait another week or so. You do live in Australia and I imagine that all of the Christmas post must have got in the way of your order. However, if the status still says "order in processing" here is what I would do.
Continue ringing them up, and continue emailing them. I don't think that you should worry about your cash as I think that it is standard Gamesbasement procedure to get the money as soon as you order. So, if you have kept emailing them and ringing them up, I'd go onto their Twitter page, which you can find here. Send them a tweet explaining your situation and hopefully you should get a reply back sometime soon.
If none of what I have suggested above works, I'm sorry but I'm not sure that there is much else you can do aside from just waiting and hoping that your order does eventually arive. I wish you the best of luck, buddy.

Thanks Dexter17
I have looked at a few of the posts in relation to Gamesbasement and the general feeling I get is that I am not the only one to be experiencing problems, I think it is very bad customer relations to not even acknowledge an email and if and when I get this game through I will never deal with them again.
My order status says that it has not been dispatched yet even though the PS3 version was sent out and seeing as it was preoredered I would have expected it to have been sent out at the same time.
As I said it is bad customer relations to not even reply but it also leaves people like myself from another country high and dry when it comes to trying to get in contact.
I will do as you say and drop a line on the twitter page and see how that goes, but to be honest I am not holding out much luck, I am going into the 3rd month now and I know it does not take that long to send from the UK, as I am originally from there.
Cheers Brother
