Hi zed, welcome to our world. The games you have so far are a good choice and as far as which game to buy on PSN, COD classic is good and gives hours of gameplay but you should be a seasoned COD fan to get the best out of it.Retail gameswise Uncharted 2 is an awesome game and winner of many awards including TSA and I can thoroughly recommend it. Burnout Paradise the Ultimate box on the PSN Store is at bargain price in special offers at the moment and a superb game that got me into online gaming in the first place. hodgi

Hello.

You had a PS3 and an Xbox for Chrimbo eh?

Noice.

You already have perhaps the best game on the PS3 in terms of value for money (LBP of course) therefore if you have a fiver left over from your PSN card I would advise you pick up (well, not literally) the new LBP water pack, it is brilliant (as is the MGS Level Kit).

COD Classic seems to be liked by everybody who has bought it, but Wipeout HD is also excellent value. :)

Uncharted 1 is just as awesome as 2 so you'll have fun with them.

Both PS3 and a 360 in one christmas? Woah. Check out Left 4 Dead 2 and Forza 3 on 360, and Assassins Creed 2 for either console hodgi

CoD Classic is good but as freeze says you do have to be a bit of a seasoned CoD player to get the most out of it. It wouldn't be one of my first purchases from the store, there are better games out there (I wouldn't have it at all but it came free with MW2 Hardened). Burnout Paradise is definitely something that should be on your "To Purchase" list as the Ultimate Box is massive value for money if you're a racing fan. Flower is also worth a look at some point as it's probably one of the best game 'experiences' out there, if you're into titles which move away from the mainstream.

As far as adding people as PS3 friends goes you can add away to your heart's content provided you put you're from TSA in the message. Blank friends requests normally get ignored.

Edit: Dammit freezebug ;)

Reason for that mate if not obvious is that TSA has stalkers and members are plagued….joking, but a blank friends request is usually just

someone attracted to the trophy card count to a member on the forum.

Hi there. I presonnally would pass on COD classic, I got it for xbox with my MW2 and its good but if you have the choice I would deffinately get Battlefeild 1943, much more fun and you will deffinately get more play time out of it. There are also TSA meets every so often for Battlefeild which is good fun.

You will probably finish Shift in about 10mins so get rid of it and get yourself Forza 3 or Dirt2 which will last you much longer.

The DLC alone for LBP will keep you busy for ages and if I remember from the Beta the water stuff in there is pretty cool. If you can stretch to it AC2 is highly recommended and again as for value for your money its a huge game and will be getting DLC at the end of Jan and Feb this coming year.

Other PSN titles I would recommend (seeing as battlefield is cheap at the mo) PixelJunk Shooter and Savage Moon.

Hope that helps.

Happy new year!

Now wouldn't that be a dream job; head of games section in Tesco with the option to sample all products before release to the public (during work hours). hodgi

Welcome to TSA zed,

As no one else has mentioned it, I would also suggest Batman:Arkham Asylum as a game that must be played. I rented it and ended up keeping it for a couple of weeks.

Hello and welcome hodgi

Personally, i would suggest Killzone 2 because it's a great game and is well supported here at TSA.

Plus, i looked online and you can buy it from Tesco for just £12.99

No. Don't get Dead Space. Wait for the #2.

Dead Space is full of repetitive enemies, dull combat and generally boring gameplay.

If you want to buy it just for the occasional great atmospheric moments that make you crap yourself then I guess it could be one to consider as it is like £8 now.

Oh… and Batman? It's a great game but unless you are going to solve every single riddle, do all challenges and perhaps aim for all the trophies then it is only worth renting, as the main game is fairly short in all fairness (but still an epic play). :)
