Forum | So what are the most dissapointing or best games that you have bought so far?

My all time favourites are Uncharted 1 and Formula 1 Championship Edition with Uncharted 2 trailing in third place.

There are alot of games that have both positives and negatives so I can't really pin point a single game, however two that come to mind are MW2 and Motorstorm Pacific Rift  .

Demon's Souls is quite possibly the only game that has ever put me in a bad mood. If you haven't played DS it's basically goes like this: Something sneaks up on you- Death

You miss your attack- Death

Someguy lobs a firebomb at you- Death

Watch some other guy die- Death

Walk into a group of guys- Death

Open inventory at wrong time- Death

Get mad because you died repeatedly and decide to get revenge- Death

Decide to smash some crates instead to make yourself feel better- Death

True, but you must admit, every single death that happens is down to the player being careless, its never the games fault (apart from it being rock hard)..  The countless times I've died in that game, I never felt cheated by it.

I have played it for a few hours last night and found it really frustrating, however, you are right I did not feel cheated. I will give it another go tonight and see how I fare.

Gee I have played so many titles, some were dissapointed and others were great. The list is endless I must say….

Best game would be Assassin's Creed (I don't know why) Uncharted and Batman Arkham Asylum

Dissapointed game – Resident Evil 5.

But again I have played so many games lol.

Wow! Really?

I haven't played on GTA 4 for ages so didn't take any notice of the news that DLC was coming out on Playstation 3. Although, if it contains cheats like those, I'll be one of the first to pick it up!

You just reminded me of another disappointment..  Resistance 2.  No where near as good as the first one imo, and tbh, the first was great only because it was the first decent PS3 FPS.

What were they thinking when they came up with that co-op mode?  

Ok Im gonna break the mould a bit here and seeing as its a new year Im gonna share my best and worse so far in 2010. I know ther year has only just started but we have already had a bunch of games hit the shelves and I have even got my 1st GOTY nominee.

Worst game I have baught has to be Army of Tw The 40th Day. It just wasnt worth the money, I finished a play through in what felt like a couple of hours and after a few hours of co-op with the wife it was still uninspiring and just a bit dull.

Best game I have purchased on PS3 so far will have to be Bioshock 2, still playing through my 1st blast and its just so much more original than a lot of the other crap on the market ei: Dantes Inferno which fortunately I didnt buy but rented, one play through was enough. Dantes will dissapear the moment GOW3 hit our shelves.

The best game I have PLAYED this year so far and will be the best for some time is without question or competition Mass Effect 2. It blows everything away, the gameplay the story the weapons. Its just brilliant. If it was a 2009 game it would have taken my vote away from Uncharted 2 for GOTY in a heartbeat.

Inorder for it to be disappointing it has to be hyped and when I bought it I thought it would actually be a good game, in that case I'll go with Fallout 3, the most buggy boring game I've played in a long long time, if the developers have put much more effort to fix it's cons it would have been a good game, for example I got stuck in the level where you have to escape after the character's father' death, I didn't have any medication and not enough bullets, so decided after so many frustrations before this segment that I'll trade this fucked up game for good.

the second one would be bioshock, it was agood game but not as good as i was expecting
