I think everyone will be doing the same – I know I've got at least 3 games coming on Friday which I aim to platinum if possible (AC2, Ratchet and Clank, Lego Indy 2).
Might even find some time to go back and platinum Prince of Persia, MW2 and Batman. There just aren't enough hours in the day though

There are for some people. It's called not being bothered to get a job…

I need the job to pay of the games. Staying up late everynight does mean I'm shattered at work each day and facebook keeps telling my girlfriend when I go to bed as it posts my new trophies.

Any chance of doing a list which is ranked by number of platinums? So we can see a little bit of quality over quantity
A good point LS because statistically wise you have a higher platinum trophy count than me and have achieved level 13 with a lower trophy count, which indicates quality not quantity.
Edit: Trophy card is not updating apparently as I have had 14 platinums and 1227 trophies for a few hours now on PSN.
@ LS i could make a list like that someday. maybe i've got some more interesting thing i could make a list of. it just crossed my mind. which platinums have been collected my the TSA members and which platinums haven't been collected at all.
@ Freezebug2 a lot of platinum trophies doesn't always mean quality over quantity. if someone had 6 platinums which where all super easy to get like Ice Age 3, Terminator Salvation or Disney's Up etc. and someone else got lets say 3 platinums which would be World at War, GTA4 and Modern Warfare 2, i'd say the one with 3 platinums has better quality platinums than the other with 6 platinums.

I'm fairly sure LS means: Having more platinums is better than having a bajillion bronzes, as opposed to the quality of the platinums.

Yes that is true so It would be a little hard to guage unless only certain games are included in the allowable platinums list that can count towards your score possibly ?
Edit: Or maybe give certain platinums half a point.
Damn AOL I just got disconnected for nearly an hour…crap service it must go.

I just got my SHIFT platinum a couple of days ago, my postings are less now as I can't always use this comp and my lappy has broken :(, I also only need to complete Enemy of my enemy on Veteran for my MW2 Plat (#20) and earn 400000 credits on Supercar Challenge for that plat (#21) then Infamous on hard for plat 22.

There are tons of jobs out there, just not always the ones you want. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and take what you can get until a job that you want comes along.

You mean, like temporary office jobs paying minimum wage? Tick. Or graduate jobs that are severely competitive and only recruit 1/2 times a year? Tick. Or even jobs like the 2 I've had recent interviews for, but, get this, are only hiring after Christmas? Amazing. I'll get straight on it. Thanks Mum.
PS. Well done on making me lose my temper. Happy Holidays.

I don't remember making you do anything, or trying to make you lose your temper. In fact my original comment wasn't even aimed anywhere near you, so if you're getting angry about it then it's all you and nothing to do with me. My reply also wasn't trying to incite any sort of anger, it's something I had to do myself so I was just saying. I spent ages looking for an office/computing job I wanted, but couldn't, so had to resort to a 'shitty' minimum wage job where I spent most of my time outside in a field extremely cold and wet doing laborious tasks, or stuck in a small room weighing out seeds everyday. In fact, one of the people I was working with doing a similar job had just finished a degree in Mechanical Engineering, yet he was doing that until something better came along. Which it eventually did.
So yeah, please go ahead and make me feel bad about mentioning it.

Don't know. I guess people still take my comments too literally and don't realise that half of the time what I'm saying is just for dramatic effect or as a joke. Easy for people to just bite back at me in the hopes that I'll create a situation because it's LS, right? He's a grumpy bastard so why not, eh.
As for most of this stuff, yeah, I've been there myself, but let's all shoot first and ask questions later. Shame to see that pretty much anything people say that goes against the grain needs a disclaimer.

I got made reduntant three years back and could have settled for the shitty mundane minimum wage route but decided to invest some of the redundancy money into re-training and qualified as an Electrician so started my own business. This has proved fruitful as I can now buy loads of lovely PS3 games to enjoy and try for bronzes, silvers, golds and platinums….<<back on topic.

Thus you are proof that you're never out of options, you just need to think outside the box sometimes.
Also is my last comment on this so I can't say anything else that might get me a grilling somehow.

I think most people will have read your comments and took them as they were meant which was just generalising but not particularly aimed at anyone. Hey, LS dont let your last day on TSA be tarnished with bad feeling, I know that after today time will be pretty tight for you and we dont know when we will hear from the TSA best poster again…..go out on a high dude.

Let's all keep this thread on track. Even if someone misunderstood someone else's post it does not mean that we need to have a lot of discussion about it. I understand where both of you are coming from but you can't do tone over text in these forums so you can never really know how the other is saying it.
On topic: I'm really for the idea Flexxible had of seeing who has which platinum and which games haven't been platinumed at all. That would make it really special if I was ever to get that EndWar platinum
