This is a great idea, if we jump into serious games straight away people that are not accustom* to fps will not enjoy it when getting there ass handed to them all the time, it's no fun at all.
So bravo Michael for the boot camps, like you say lets all find our feet before we get all serious and stuff.

I quite liked TSA warhawk, and I kept getting my ass handed to me. But yeah if we're going to be playing as a team it'll stop the better ones losing patience with the bad ones.

Is there proper clan support on KZ? And if there is what will that mean? Can we compare our clan to other clans etc? Can we see who is the best in the clan etc?

Yeah, theres loads of stuff like valour betting and a clan ladder and stuff.
I'm going to wait for someone who knows what there talking about to say more.

Nearer the time I'll post up some details about servers/passwords etc, or whatever it is that KZ2 will require of us to set up a game just for TSA people. Maybe it'll just be clan specific games, in which case DJH…ADD ME!

yea, sounds good.
i do the same in MGO and warhawk. circulating the game modes also helps as people act differently depending on what the objective of the game is.

Great idea, Michael It would be good to become a bit familiar with the online stuff before heading to the serious matches.
But maybe we could also add some later dates? I usually order my games in the UK cause the German versions are quite often censored (especially FPS) and still get a giant red 18+ sticker on the front cover  The funny part is that even with the extra delivery cost it's most of the times cheaper than buying the game here in a shop! As a drawback, my pre-ordered Killzone 2 will take a few days to arrive here

I think this should be the first call for the clan. Checkout the limitations of each of the maps and try and work out the classes. The main problem with this is that in order to unlock the classes you have to have X experience in the multiplayer. Same goes for unlocking the Clan option. Not sure what that means for private matches.
Personally I'm going to be playing through on the single player first as I think this is a good way to get to grips with the weapons and controls
Don't forget that there's always the option for bots, which can be set to a very challenging level.
I'm looking forward to the TSA matches on this

Yup I've done some research *cough* googling *cough*
You can create a clan after you have gained a certain amount of experience. Then you get given some valour and you can bet valour on clan matches, and there is a leader board which you can go up and down on depending on the amount of valour you have.
I'll try and find the link.
