King of Killzone will be postponed tomorrow if a fix to the PS3 issue isn't confirmed before 4PM.
I'm not risking my 80GB until I'm sure it's safe turn it on and I know a few of the participants do not have a slim. Sorry guys.

Whenever the problem is fixed I will set a date. If it is postponed tomorrow then we will hopefully aim for next Tuesday.

I was thinking that, what with the front page post disappearing, that China's best had been having a go at TSA Towers…
@Colin, good good. I'm free most days, but Sony seem pretty confident about it being fixed tomorrow, so it shouldn't have to be moved.

If it is fixed by tomorrow would anyone like a Boot Camp around 6.30ish, tonight's looks like it will be cancelled.

Yes! Some TSA warmup would be a good thing, as long as it isn't on the same map as we play King of Killzone

If the problem is confirmed to be 100% fixed I'll set up a Boot Camp at 6.30. The King of Killzone lobby will be set up at 7.45 and the game will begin at 8PM

I've already started my PS3 8 hours ago, so I'm in the shit now. Still, I'm hopeful KOK will still go ahead and the patch gets delivered in time.

I might have some problems, this is what happened earlier; I started my PS3, had a play around, tested a few games, unplugged it, checked internet, felt like a twat. As for the skynet theory, the meets page looks like its been mauled by Kratos, one meet has one person's name added several times! We usually finish dinner at about 7pm so I should be able to make the latter half of the pre-KoK meet. Thats if it goes ahead.

I've not had a chance to try my PS3 yet but I'm assuming it is working fine. King of Killzone should go ahead as planned tonight.

Yup, I put my PS3 on at midnight, and if you remember I was one of the main proponents of everyone being allowed to turn stuff on and mess about. Soon as it hit midnight (some people's internal clocks are a little out so could be earlier or later) it could log into PSN, retrieve the proper time, and everything worked exactly as it should again.
No need for a patch, and everything's back to normal.

Yeah, everything is back to normal as if nothing ever happened: no 8001050F, no corrupted data, Borderlands DLC is working again and all trophies are back.
