I just finished the tightest possible game of Domination (the mode with 256 players). Raven vs. SVER with Raven attacking.

We did great for the first 10 minutes or so, and pushed forward to the final set of objectives. I led the charge into letter D and shot/slashed a good 5 or 6 stupid hippies in the back as they were sniping. We easily held D for 3 or 4 minutes till they completely swamped us and locked us out.

Other areas of the map were also largely being held, apart from one which was slowly filling the meter, but SVER constantly badgering them and interrupting the steady flow of points. Personally I'm butting my head against a wall as I parachute in only to get shot 5 seconds after I land by a sniper, or get dropped as I run up the steps to one of the gates to blow it up.

2 minutes left and they'd got control of everything. It's at this point that the CiC plonks down the "slow reinforcements" command on them.

With a minute to go, and 2 chunks of the bar needed, we surged forward and captured 6 of the 8 points and won literally in the last second.

I kid you not. The game literally said the "we've run out of reinforcements" thing, but then the debrief screen said we had won. Now if that isn't milliseconds difference, I don't know what is…

I had a simmilar experience, only the other way arround 8(

Hehe, Yuuzhan and I were playing the same map (SVER defending), and fighting for the same letter with largely the same story, but this time we were two seconds too late. It said "we're pulling out" a couple seconds before the final chunk of the bar disappeared and it said "we've destroyed their fuel reserves", but it wasn't to be and SVER got the win…
