First we had Fifa 09 for £25 at Morrisons
Then we had Saints Row 2 at £15.97,
And thanks to Lanselta we now we have Socom: Confrontation (Inc headset) for £29.99 at play.com on pre-order, amazingly the release date isn't until 28-11-08, this is a great deal as it includes Sony's first official headset with it's HQ mode, and as we all know official stuff is usually better
It might be an idea to keep bumping this post and add to it with any bargains you see… these next few months may not be as expensive as originally thought.

Why is there two firsts? (i'm guessing simple mistake)
Also, does the £30 for Socom + headset mean the headset on it own is cheaper or are you basically getting Socom for free?
Another thing, I wonder when the standalone headset will be released. At the same time or later? (I wonder this as Socom + headset can be pre-oredered from play.com, but the standalone headset can't. There is just an email notification thing.)

nope, there's a cunning and secret reason why, and if I told you I'd have to kill you… oh OK it was a mistake
I believe the h/set will sell for £30 standalone, this basically means socom is free (and may be traded in on day 1) in the US the standard pricing is $50 & $60, so presumably here it will be £40 & £50, Play are just doing a deal

Don't know if there's any truth in this but If you live near Junction 9 on the M6, (Walsall), Currys megastore are having a grand opening sale. Starts 7am 16/10/08 and an 80Gb PS3 is just £199.99 for the first 100 customers.

Just seen on the news, there have been fights breaking out in the queue, there is gridlock in the area… the M6 motorways sliproads have been closed in both directions because of the amount of peope already there
it looks like if your bargain hunting here, your already to late, even though it's not open yet

GTA IV has gone back up to £24.99 on Play, probably mainly due to the fact they are all sold out atm and must have went like hot cakes during the deal.
Btw, is the singstar deal on argos' website? Cos it is showing up as £34.99

I have a still wrapped (it's brand new) copy of N+ for Nintendo DS if anyone wants to trade it for Brain Training (new or used, I don't mind) that would be great. I gave my DS away to my mum, she obviously isn't going to play a game like N+ but I know she really wants Brain Training.
