I`m goin shopping at thew weekend and would like to buy a new game, ive played GoW3 but didnt like it…
I like FPS`s, Adventure games, 3rd person shooters etc

I will be purchasing Battlefield Bad Company 2 at the weekend as I will be back online after 6 weeks. I suggest you do the same!
EDIT: having just looked at your trophycard I see you have already got it. The only other new game I have bought recently is Bioshock 2. Highly recommended if you have played the first.

I would recommend Bad Company 2, Modern Warfare 2 and of course Uncharted 1 and 2.
That's the ones i can think of at the top of my head at least.

I am big FPS fan too, so I am guessing you would already have MW2. In that instance I would purchase Batman:Arkham Asylum, or Uncharted 1 & 2, they are just about the best games out there. I know they aren't FPS, but if you have MW2 then dont even worry about any other FPS, they all fail in comparison I think.
Apart from maybe Killzone 2, that holds its own and I am yet to play BFBC2 but I didnt like BFBC1 and I already have BF1943 so at best it might be a rental game

Dont forget that Batman:AA GOTY edition is released shortly though - without looking I cant remember when – so I would hang on for that, it is truely a masterpiece.

Thanks for all trhese suggestions, yeah i have both MW2 and BFBC2 which are both epic, ive also got 1943, ive got Uncharted 2 and had number 1, ive borrowed Batman off a mate but didnt get far so thats a possibility, ive played Killzone 2 enjoyed that, i have the 1st bioshock so maybe the sequel is on the card also,
A mate has recommended Resistance 2, anyone played that? and what are your thoughts??

Don't get that, get Just Cause 2, its out soon, Check at shopto, you can get the limited edition fairly cheap.

Ive completed Borderlands, and was going to get all the DLc until the PS3 day of death corrupted my Level 50 save game, not going to bother getting that again

Resistance 2 is a love or hate game, personally i loved it. You could probably get it pretty cheap.

Resistance 2 is a love or hate game, personally i loved it. You could probably get it pretty cheap.
And that i did mate, went to GAME yesterday and picked it up for £7, was well impressed, played abit last night, not too bad, need to get into it, ive been told the story mode is fair long so looking forward to that
